Activation failures fixed

A technical issue was recently causing activation emails not to be sent from this forum, thus preventing mew members from joining or posting. We were not aware of this issue until recently, and have now managed to send the backlog of emails and restore service. We apologise to anyone who has been affected and unable to access the forum for support during this time.

We at Mensline Australia have been approached by a respected Sydney Morning Herald journalist who is looking to write a feature story about the use of internet porn within relationships – and the potentially destructive effect it can have on relationships.

Has internet porn been an issue for you, your partner or within your relationship?

If so, we’d like to hear from you, as we’re interested in your experiences and most importantly, perspectives. We are working to ensure any resulting article is as balanced and fair as possible, hence we’re asking for your feedback. We will also ensure your complete anonymity surrounding this issue.

Registration problem fixed

Apologies to anyone who has tried to register recently and been unable to due to a missing verification image. This has now been rectified.

No more anonymous posting on this forum!

We have made the decision that anonymous posting will no longer be permitted on this forum. From now on it will be necessary to register and log on to the forum in order to add posts. In the past, anonymous posting was permitted, but all such posts had to be approved before they would appear on the site. This has been discontinued for two main reasons. Firstly, some members were posting without being aware that they were not logged on, with the result that their posts took some time (often several days) to appear. Secondly, the forum has recently been subjected to an increase in spam advertising. Much of this was posted by registered users, who have been removed. However, there were also numerous anonymous spam posts, stretching our limited moderation resources.

We trust this step will make using the forum a smoother and more pleasant experience. Feel freee to direct any enquiries to webmaster@menslineaus.org.au.
