Suicide Risk Assessment & Intervention: Men at Risk eLearning Tool

Suicide is a major health concern in Australia and with men being four times more likely to die by suicide than women, it is critical that we target prevention strategies to their particular needs. Considering that one of the most significant risk factors is a lack of support, and that men are far less likely to seek support nor identify their own risk, it is important that those services who do have contact with this group of men are well equipped to respond appropriately, swiftly and consistently.

This innovative and interactive eLearning tool for Suicide Assessment and Intervention: Men at Risk is a valuable, educative resource for professionals working with men who may be at risk of harming themselves, to equip them with the knowledge and skills to assess and respond to suicide risk.
