Men’s Health and Wellbeing
MHWA has branches nationally and which operate at a State level. This website provides information about events, articles and resources on men’s health and wellbeing. A newsletter is produced to which contributions are sought.
Men's Advisory Network
M.A.N. the peak body for service providers, organisations and individuals concerned with
men’s health, wellbeing and other issues affecting males of all ages in Western Australia.
The primary role that M.A.N. plays is resourcing the sector through supporting service providers,
organisations and professionals from various disciplines, who work with males of all ages.
In addition, M.A.N. provides information to individuals about appropriate services and professionals,
plus provides general community education and raises awareness of the issues affecting males of all ages.
Men's Health Information and Resource Centre
MHIRC designs, develops and supports research and projects which contribute to the enhancement of the health & well-being of men and boys in a variety of contexts:
- the workplace
- family relationships
- access to health and social support services.
MHIRC also aims to:
- promote awareness of the diversity of experiences and cultural contexts of groups of men and boys
- contribute to the development of policies and services in Government Departments and other agencies which support the well-being of men and boys
- promote positive images of men and boys.
Menstime
Menstime offers a range of practical and informative groups for men on a range of issues
including fathering, relationships, depression and other life issues.
