Digital Stories

In late 2007, Mensline Australia, in conjunction with the ACMI, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, participated in Men's Voices, a digital storytelling project which aimed to capture and express the diversity of Australian men's stories. According to ACMI:

Digital Storytelling examines all aspects of being human — love, loss, achievement, recovery, isolation and celebration — the positive and the painful.
Digital Storytelling is not just a way to archive family history, it is a living memory and dedication to the lives we lead and the people we know.

The following digital stories by Aboriginal men were produced in December 2007. All stories are in Windows Media format and may require a plug-in in to play in some browsers.

Indigenous viewers are warned that some stories may contain images or voices of deceased persons.
